Why does Tack Track® ask for my I.D for verification, is it safe?
Tack Track® is a secure site for registering & transferring your tack, Tack Track® will verify your ID upon registering your new account to ensure members are real people, preventing dishonest people from creating a false identity and registering stolen tack.
We use an external platform for verifying your ID called FrankieOne. Your ID is NOT stored on our system.
FrankieOne is the award-winning identity verification platform that has enterprise-grade security, is certified with both ISO27001 and Soc 2 type II, and is trusted by over 200 financial institutions both in Australia and abroad.

How many items can I register?
There is no limit on the items you can register.

What do I do if I sell any of my registered saddlery?
You can transfer ownership in My Account.
Once the transfer has been accepted by the purchaser the item will no longer be visible in your Tack Track® account & will appear in the new owner’s Tack Track® account.
What do I do if my registered saddlery is stolen?
Mark your registered tack as stolen in the membership area.
Then please contact the police to report stolen tack on 131 444 (Australia non-emergency) 105 (New Zealand non-emergency)
or file a police report online in your local state:
Please give the police the unique tracking number of the equipment so they can link it with your police report.

What happens to my unique tracking number if I let my account lapse or cancel my account?
Your unique tracking numbers will be frozen if your membership account has lapsed or is cancelled.
The numbers will not be recycled & used again. If you reactivate your account your unique tracking numbers will be valid again.
While your account is inactive you will not be able to mark them as stolen in the unfortunate event of a theft and members will not be able to search your unique tracking number if they come across your stolen gear & could potentially alert the police.
When reactivated, the account will need to be reactivated using the same details (name, address, email, phone) as previously listed on your account.

What is the unique tracking number?
When you register equestrian equipment in your account, Tack Track® will create a unique tracking number for each piece of equipment you register.
How do I mark my saddlery with the unique tracking number?

Where is the best place to mark the unique tracking number on my saddlery?
The best place to mark the unique tracking number on the equipment is somewhere not visible when using the equipment on your horse, whilst also an area with the least amount of wear & tear. Some good examples are; gullet on a saddle, under the flap near rear above stirrup leathers on an english saddle or under the back housing on a western saddle.
Can Tack Track mark my unique tracking number on my saddlery for me?
We will be hosting “Marking Days” where Tack Track® will be able to mark your gear for you and also have marking available at partner saddleries.
Does my saddlery need to be a minimum value to register for a unique tracking number?
No, once you have a paid membership with Tack Track® you can register any of your horse saddlery.
What do I do if I purchase second hand saddlery with a unique tracking number already marked?
Firstly, check the unique tracking number in “Tack Search” to ensure it is safe for purchase.
The seller will submit a transfer in their Tack Track® account, you can accept the transfer then the item will appear in your Tack Track® account.
How do I check if second hand gear is stolen?
Click the “Tack Search” button to enter the unique tracking number marked on the saddlery you are searching.
What do I do if the unique tracking number I’m searching for is marked “stolen”?
Don’t purchase gear marked as “stolen”.
Please contact the police (131 444 – Australian non-emergency & 105 New Zealand non-emergency), they will be able to gather the information needed to help track the stolen equipment & hopefully return it to the legal owner.
